The Breguet Bre.14 B2, where B2 was a code identifying the machine as a two-seat bomber.
The sturdy Breguet Bre.14 was one of great French machines of WW1 soldiering along till long after the war. Large numbers were used by the U.S. forces in France but all, as here, in French insignia and markings.
The bomb racks or attachments for bombs can just be seen underneath the wing.
Maximum bomb load
was 355 kg.

An early version of
the Breguet Bre.14 B2
two-seat bomber.
This can be seen because the window is set high,
later versions had
the window more in
the middle of the fuselage.
The reconnaissance version (Bre.14 A2) had no window in the side of the fuselage.

A Breguet Bre.14 A2. Clearly distinguishable
as a reconnaissance version of the Bre.14 as there is no window in the fuselage side at the position of the observer / gunner.
The bomber version (coded B2) had this window probably for use
in better bombs aiming
or viewing the results
