Many of these workers have been fitted with artificial limbs by A.R.C.

Ecole de Reeducation de mutiles.

French mutiles, many of whom have been fitted with artificial limbs by the AMERICAN RED CROSS, making furniture which will be sold at a very low price to refugee families

under the auspices of the AMERICAN RED CROSS at Orleans.

who took part in the competition at Rennes, France.

The re-education of the mutile along agricultural lines has been in progress some time,

under the patronage of the American Red Cross.

 The picture shows a student working with apparatus, his left arm being gone

The American Red Cross operated this school, which was a great success,

permitting a man although maimed, to follow the useful occupation of farming.

A competition was held and prizes awarded, the candidates working with apparatus
