This may be first locomotive acquired by the hospital, a Portland built engine.

Willard State Hospital from 1872-1894.
Some of the photographs are thought to be the work of Nelson Hopkins,
brother of Dr. Horace Hopkins and wife Anne Maycock Hopkins.
The book was later owned by Dr. Robert E. Doran who was a visiting surgeon at Willard,
and his father was also a physician at Willard.
