Chateau St. Lubin near Dreux.
This picturesque old Chateau shelters about 75 refugees at present although
it is badly run down and has no system of plumbing.
The ARC is considering taking it over, repairing it and making it fit to house about 200 refugees

Children of the colony of refugees who are sheltered in portable houses
which the Ministere de l'Interieur put up for them at Dreux, allowing one room for each family.
These houses were originally intended for use in the reconstruction of the devastated regions
but as that work is partially postponed they are being used to meet the refugee problem.
The A.R.C. has provided many articles of furniture, clothing and utensils for this settlement.
